Choosing Change

have you ever found yourself in a place where everything seems good in your life, yet there is something missing? Like there is a satisfaction with everything you have and yet there is a feeling that more can be done? Is there a FOMO feeling that you experience?

If you have answered yes to even one of these questions, then you are ready for a change! So what does it take to create a change in one’s life? The answer to that would be the 3 As.

Awareness: When you answered YES to the above questions, you have already completed the 1st A. You may not know what to do, but you are aware that something needs to be done. This awareness itself can open the doors to possibilities. As Cheryl Richardson, author of the best seller Take Time for Your Life, said, “Awareness is a powerful catalyst for positive change”.

Acceptance: Knowing is one thing and accepting it is another. Most people have a fear of acknowledging that there could be things in their life that need changing. Even to themselves. Because acknowledging means admitting that they haven’t done what’s needed to move from where they are. When we accept that something needs changing, we are now readying the mind for change.

Action: Once we are ready for that change, it’s time to take action. If you already know what you want to do, just start off. But in case you don’t know what exactly you need to change, look around for people who can help you.

A life coach can help you connect with your deepest desires and aspirations. They can help you find your answers and move past your blocks. Alternately, you could enrol in a self-development program that first helps you figure out what you need to change and then you could decide what your next steps could be.

It is in the choices we make, that we can change our life.
